Why Russia
According to UNESCO Institute for Statistics, Russia ranks 6th in the world by the number of international students — about 250,000 students from other countries arrive in Russia every year.
- Enrollment with no exams If you don't speak Russian yet, you should start with preparatory faculty. The preparatory faculty is the first step towards a prestigious degree. You'll learn Russian and start studying the subjects for your major. For example, if you want to become a doctor, you'll be taught Russian, biology, and chemistry at the preparatory faculty. You don't have to pass any exams in order to study at the preparatory faculty.
- High-quality education at affordable prices International students pay about 5-7 times less for studying in Russia than in Europe or the USA. Meanwhile, the education quality is on an international level — Russian universities regularly rank among the top 100 and top 500 best universities in the world in the prestigious QS World University Rankings, and the number of ranked Russian universities is growing every year.
- Accommodation in the university residence hall Russian universities offer accommodation in residence halls for foreign students. The accommodation cost varies from $10 to $80 per month.
- Employment opportunities while studying From 2020, international students can legally work in Russia without any special permits. What matters is that work doesn't interfere with your studies.
- A good salary after graduation SuperJob job search service statistics show that during the first five years after graduation, Russian university graduates can obtain a $900–$2 000 monthly salary in Russia (while the average living costs for working-age Russians are $400–$500 per month).
- The degrees are recognized abroad A degree obtained in Russia is highly valued internationally. If you want to move to another country or return home after graduation, a Russian degree will be an important advantage for you in getting a job or continuing your studies. As Russia has joined the Bologna Process, graduates of Russian universities can easily enroll at European universities for a Master's degree or a PhD.
